We’ve Got Spring Remodeling Fever

It was a long hard winter for us Tennesseans. Harder than most. In fact, many of us ended up spending an unprecedented number of days literally trapped in our homes, due to dangerously icy conditions. At a certain point, most of us took a good look around our homes and wished we could be somewhere else: somewhere balmy, somewhere dreamy, somewhere warm and inviting.

We planned and we plotted how we might transform those cold, cold spaces in our kitchen and bath into our own private oasis. Like, oh… how wonderful would it be to step into a luxurious steam shower with an over-sized rain shower head on those frigid winter nights. And in the kitchen? Well, we were thinking maybe a nice, deep, farmhouse sink with vintage-inspired fixtures. While we’re at it, let’s also add a high-mounted gooseneck pot-filler faucet and an instant hot water dispenser. Mmmmm, now that’s more like it.

When the days started getting warmer we started to think about other things, like finally putting in that garden tub we’ve always wanted. After all, everybody knows that bathroom upgrades are one of the smartest value-adding investments we can make for our homes.
